Jasmijn is a sensitive and inquisitive illustrator who combines clear lines and dreamy graphics with deep and twisted narratives. In her work, she intertwines dark humour, social critique and uncanny perspectives, making you look and think twice. Through her illustrations, Jasmijn tells stories and explores current issues concerning social dynamics, human psyche, city life, architecture and technology. Jasmijn takes inspiration from the Dutch-Belgian ‘Claire Ligne’ tradition and takes it further by infusing it with organic shapes and subtle details.
